ACODE 97 – Designing for Uncertainty: Resilient and Inclusive Technology-Enhanced Learning Across Diverse Contexts

As higher education continues to navigate rapid technological change, evolving learner needs, and increasingly diverse educational environments, designing resilient and inclusive approaches to technology-enhanced learning (TEL) has never been more important.

This workshop will bring together learning and teaching leaders, educational designers, academics, and professional staff to explore strategies for creating flexible, accessible, and sustainable learning experiences across a range of contexts. Discussions will focus on low-bandwidth and mobile-first learning environments, instructional design practices that support digital transformation, and approaches to building institutional and sector capability.

Participants will have opportunities to share experiences, examine emerging challenges and opportunities, and strengthen regional networks that support collaboration and innovation in learning and teaching. Through practical examples and collaborative dialogue, the workshop will highlight ways institutions can design for uncertainty while ensuring equitable access and positive learning outcomes for all students.
