Building the next generation of leaders in TEL

The aim of the ACODE Mentoring Scheme is to support the development and improvement of leadership capacity in TEL (in both digital and physical learning environments) in Australasia among ACODE member institutions.

This Program is an informal program specifically designed to benefit representatives from ACODE member institutions and/or the ACODE Learning Technologies Leadership Institute (LTLI) Alumni. The Scheme runs once every two years and be scheduled to lead into each biennial LTLI event.

There will be no financial arrangements supporting the Scheme, and the Program is not specifically designed to link into an individual or institutional performance management process, although there would be some obvious synergies if institutions chose to use it in this way.

Please find below more information about the Mentoring Scheme, and to download application forms for Mentors, and Mentees.

Submissions for participation should be sent to the ACODE Executive Officer Zoe Allen at secretariat@acode.edu.au

Note that mentors and mentees may participate more than once in this scheme. Given that the Scheme follows a competitive matching process though, if there are more mentees than mentors in a given round, preference will be given to mentees who have not yet participated in the Scheme.

Note that an application to the Scheme will not necessarily lead to participation in the scheme that year, as both mentors and mentees are volunteers, and adequate numbers of suitable mentors and mentees might not be available.
