Current Activities
ACODE's Action Plan and corresponding Operational Plan determine the direction of ACODE activities in maintaining current operations and services, and consolidating ACODE's position and introducing new activities.
ACODE Workshops
ACODE hosts three Workshops each year which provide a professional development forum for those involved in learning and teaching in the higher education sector. Participants hear the latest information, exchange ideas and make contacts - with a focus on enhancing policies and practices for learning and teaching enabled by technology.
ACODE Business and Networking Meetings
ACODE Business and Networking meetings are held three times a year in conjunction with ACODE Workshops. Information relevant to the next ACODE meeting as well as Minutes of prior business meetings and other documentation from ACODE workshops can be found in the ACODE Communication Hub. Meeting information is available only to Members' representatives.
ACODE Learning Technologies Leadership Institute
ACODE hosts a biennial Learning Technologies Leadership Institute (LTLI). This is a residential leadership program aimed at middle managers – academic and non academic who work with learning technologies in the Australasian Higher Education sector and provides an extended professional development opportunity for current and future leaders of Learning and Teaching and e-learning units.
ACODE sponsored activities
ACODE sponsors activities from time to time that relate closely to the goals of its Strategic Plan.
Horizon Report launch
ACODE has sponsored the launch of the Australia- New Zealand edition of the Horizon Report. In 2010 the Australian launch took place at the Brisbane 2010 Strategic Technology Summit.
ACODE working parties
ACODE has small working parties currently working on a range of activities such as Strategic Planning, Communications Strategies, Benchmarking, e-Maturity Model (eMM), Learning Technologies Leadership Institute (LTLI) 2011 and Web 2.0 policy development with activities in progress by means of the ACODE Communication Hub (please login to view information).
